This is a wedge that goes in between the target bracket and switch to tilt the target forward and greatly reduce the airballs off targets when hit with a powerful shot.
This issue has been a big issue on the Stern Ghostbusters X2 & X3 Multiplier targets either side of the ramp. Whiel a few people have made the air ball protector they effectively trying to control the result and not fix the issue.
This wedge will greatly reduce the air balls and cause less damage to your game.
You will need 1 wedge per target. You will also have to source a slightly longer bolt for the target assembly as there just isn't enough thread once the wedge is installed.
You will need to source a 6/32 gauge x 3/4 long bolt per target as the current 6/32 gauge x 5/8 inch bolt on the thickest part of the wedge is just not long enough.
The attached photos show the install location and where I replced a hex head for a slightly longer bolt.
I created a second version which is a twin pack - 2 x wedges linked with a small branching piece that you can cut off as then you are only charged for one processing fee and saving you $2.15 total if you go for the twin pack.
