Heinkel He 280 V2 1/200

This was the first jet fighter to fly (in early 1941). Although it easily bested an Fw 190 in a mock dogfight, the Luftwaffe had no interest in its further development and the project was abandoned in favor of the Me 262. Nine prototypes were built and used for flight testing. The model represents the prototype V2 with Jumo 004 engines.

This model is a re-scale from our 1/285 He 280, some parts have been altered to better fit the new scale.
