Convair F2Y Sea Dart 1/700 (x6)

Design began in the late 'forties, when operating supersonic fighters from carriers seemed unlikely. Some consideration was given to carrying Sea Darts aboard submarines. Although only five were eventually built, the F2Y remains the only supersonic sea plane.
This sprue features three different models (two airplanes per model for a total of six): One in flight, one with the ski extended and the last one that looks like it's resting on water.

These model are a re-scale of our 1/285 Convair F2Y Three seaplanes set, some parts have been altered to better fit the new scale.
