HOn30 0-6-0/ 2-6-2 Conversion Kit

Baldwin style conversion kit for the NEW style Bachmann 0-6-0/ 2-6-2. The latest version of this locomotive has a split frame, and an enclosed silver can motor.  This conversion *MAY* fit the previous split frame with the open motor, but it will stick out the back of the cab, like the N scale model. 

This kit includes:

1.  Steel Cab
2. Boiler
3. Boiler walkways
4. Cylinder "covers"

The cab assembles to the boiler and slides over the donor mechanism. No drilling, cutting, or tapping required.  The Cylinder "covers" fit over the donor cylinders, but the donor cylinders need to be cut down to fit. This can be done with a sharp knife, or rail cutters.  This kit was designed to require as little work as possible to convert the Bachmann N scale locomotive to an HOn30 locomotive. 

Tender and details not included, but available in our shop. 

An extended front pilot will be available in the future to "stretch" the locomotive.
