Product Description
A replica of one of the three RV warheads from the Soviet/Russian R27U (NATO reporting name SS-N-6 "Serb") SLBM, with a 200 kiloton yield. Modelled as accurately as possible from the publically available data I could find, including some photographs of a warhead at the Sarov Nuclear Weapons Museum.
This would have been the type of warhead on the missiles carried by the Soviet submarine K-219 when it sank in deep water off Bermuda in 1986. According to one account, a later visit by a Soviet salvage ship found the submarine's missile hatches had been forced open, and the warheads removed.
Available now in 1/12, 1/18, 1/24, 1/35, and 1/72 scales.
