Product Description
The flagship of Plutus Milaius, Emperor of Karaden. Unfortunately for him, the ship was still under construction when he decided to deploy the flying galleons against the Taressimian dirigible fleet. The Emperor was satisfied with the results, though disgusted with the cramped quarters and constant noise aboard the standard production galleon that he was on for the mission. Unable to advance his campaign any further, Emperor Plutus was content to sit back and enjoy his first and only victory against Taressim. After his brother Brutus, who was a much more ambitious military commander, overthrew him, the golden galleon became his flagship, and served in many missions against Taressim until a coalition of Karadenian, Sondorian, and Arcadian forces utterly destroyed the country. By the way, if you're wondering why the Karadenian rulers have Greco-Roman names, but the cabin roof on this ship is distinctly Asian, that's because Karaden has a long and convoluted history, involving a culture of enlightenment existing in peace for centuries before being brought to ruin by warmongers from the north, and its people being pulled from the brink of extinction under the leadership of an exiled Arcadian prince. In short, Karaden is what you would get if China was completely destroyed by the Mongols, but then brought back to life by the Romans. The country's architecture and ship design are meant to reflect that.
