1/700 Sondor River Battery

This is the ironclad that the Sondorian river cruisers are all based on.  This vicious hybrid of a monitor and a casemate ironclad has two gun decks to continuously bombard targets on the shore.  That being said, this vessel was considered, even in its own day, as a floating battery, and not as a proper warship, owing to its sluggishness.  This vessel is made of wood, and protected with four inches of iron plate, and thus is much heavier than the all-steel river cruisers based upon it.  There is no bridge, rather the captain commands from inside the central turret, a practise which continues in modern Sondorian river monitors.
