Product Description
The external "Missionized Gun System" currently under development for the F-35B/C Lightning II, packing a 25mm GAU-22 cannon into a centerline-mounted pod. Constructed with stealth charactaristics, it is apparently also intended to serve as the base for a future Multi-Mission Pod, allowing use of future Electronic Warfare and Intelligence/Surveilance sensor suites.
