Product Description
Comes with: Helmet, arms, hands, torso armor, legs, belt
You need: torso, head, hips

Inspired by the Voltron/ Go Lion.

Kit comes on a sprue, the sprue is very thin for easier cleanup so it might come off the sprue from shapeways! Shapeways is a 3D printing service and are manufacturing and shipping our design to you, the parts need to be finished and spray primered in gray to look like our pictures.

NOTES: The frosted extreme detail material is fragile! It is more fragile than injection molded plastic or casting resin so be very careful, these are prototype parts meant for us only but we wanted to share them. Should be handled by someone with customizing experience.

When you get the parts: remove them from sprue, do extra sanding or cutting so the fit is good, paint them if you want, and then put it together, do not do any test fits or the parts might break when you disassemble them! Not meant for pulling on and off continuously!

We do a warm soap bath and scrub with a toothbrush, if the parts feel oily definitely do this. We also put them in the sun or UV light for an hour to make sure they parts are fully cured.

These parts are easier to sand than the cheaper nylon material and have a better surface finish. Parts pictured are finished using 0000 Super Fine Steel Wool and wetsanding with 600 grit sandpaper. It is then sprayed with Tamiya Ultra Fine Gray Primer.

BE EXTRA CAREFUL, PANEL PIECES ARE SMALL AND FRAGILE.

Arms: very fragile posts, we recommend sanding the male posts or widening the female opening in the torso, do NOT do test fits and try to pop them off, they will break. Once the arms are pushed in they are locked so do all paitning you want to do before.

Hands: Sand the male posts slightly before pressing them in.

Helmet: Needs to be sanded on inside to fit on head or it will be super tight and not removeable. We use a cylinderical sanding bit in a dremel. Head is not included.
