US T17 "Deerhound" Heavy Scout Car 1/144

In the begining of the 1940 the US-Army try to find a heavy Scout Car. First of the prototypes was the T13 Trackless Tank, Than the 6 wheeled T17 Deerhound follows and the last of the heavy scout car projects was the T18 Boarhound. The first two vehicles are cancelled after a few prototypes and the T18 Boarhound was build in small numbers for the British Army. All of them are too heavy and too big for the US-Army. 1 pcs. Zu Beginn der 1940 Jahre suchte die US-Army nach einem schweren Panzerspähwagen. Die erste Prototyp war der T13 Trackless Tank (Panzer ohne Ketten), dann folgte der 6-Rad Wagen T17 Deerhound und als letztes wurde der T18 Boarhound entwickelt. Von den ersten beiden Fahrzeugen wurden jeweils nur einige Prototypen und der T18 Boarhound wurde in kleiner Serie für die britische Armee gabaut.
