Screen accurate landing bay doors as seen in The Empire Strikes Back.
I've been working on this for a long time together with fellow modeller Guillaume Kocinski in order to be able to offer movie accurate landing bay doors for the DeAgostini Millennium Falcon.
It's been a painstaikingly endeavor to recreate these. The end product is a best of both worlds, the challenge was to be able to combine both the details on the bay doors from the studio model with the bay doors support mechanism seen in the full set in the movie. This is what what was done this far:

Beacuse of the small details the landing doors are only available on Frosted Ultra Detail.

- Recreate the original hatches in the smallest details
- Screen accurate front bay doors consisting of two parts while the rest of the bay doors consist of three parts.
- Provide a texture for the back side that is visible when the bay doors are open
- Create a support mechanism to fit it all together
