Product Description
The front of the Tamiya KingCab and Monster racer were not as stout as we had all hoped. The load of an impact usually cracked the hard-to-find and expensive chassis and usually relegated the model to the shelf.
Shelf no more! The Ampro Engineering front bumper set allows the 081008-01 KingCab Front Bumper Mount to absorb the impact using Elastoplastic (SLS Nylon is a discouraged option only to be used for shelfers) and will accept the standard front bumper to be installed. This option is only by order through emailing Ampro as Shapeways does not offer that for sale. This can only be used with the stock KingCab front bumper and not the 081008 versions. Finally, to make sure the front end is completely safe, the 081010-01 KingCab Front Skid Plate is used with the Front Bumper mount to deflect the impact away from the chassis.
