HO scale model of a 19,000 gallon 70 ton tank car underframe designed to fit a modified Athearn 62' tank car body. This frame is intended to represnt frames used on tank cars owned by MKT and NP (later to BN in fuel tender service).
Frame is designed to use modified Moloco draft gear and Kato 70 ton trucks. Hand holds and handbrake may be reused from Athearn model. Tank barrel should be shortened one inch at each end and a dome from a Tyco triple dome tank car should be added to the center of the tank body.
