Product Description
This is a 1/700 scale model of a generic early to mid 20th Century three island cargo ship. It will also work as a tramp steamer.
Note that this is just the basic hull; you will need to buy J vents, winches cargo booms/masts, water-tight doors, railings and anchors from somewhere else. I got many of the parts from http://www.battlefleetmodels.com/
but just about any generic PE set (or cargo ship PE set) should work.
The pictures show a PLA test print (not for sale) and a Shapeways printed ship in Black Hi-Def Acrylate (no longer available at Shapeways) and Frosted Ultra Detail. The White Strong and Flexible print came out prety good. A few layers of primer should remove most of the printer artifacts.
