Product Description
This model includes landing gear in the "Up" position and will need to be attached to a truck with pintle hitch. If you would like the landing gear in the "down" stand alone position please see the other model labeled #2

Detailed model of a 20-Ton 2-Axle Equipment Tag Trailer w/20' deck based off of and scalled down from drawings of XL Specialized Equipment Trailers. This model is very well detailed and available only in Frosted Ultra & Frosted Extreme Detail.

Overall dimentions in scale feet:
Tounge w/Dual Landing Gear & Tool Box - 5'2"
Deck Space - 20'
Beaver Tail - 6'6" w/10 degree slope
Ramps - 6'9"
Load Tie Down Mounts - 12 per side
Overall Length - 31'8" w/o Ramps

The deck is left open so you may set in your own real wood decking to give the model the next level of detail. The Beaver Tail does not need decking and can just be left open as is.
The Ramps will need to be cut from the bottom of the trailer and either glued in the vertical "haul" position or down in the "load" position. They can also easily be made moveable by carefully drilling small holes through the "hinges" and inserting .020 wire.

You will need to provide your own set of wheels and tires as well as axles. I suggest using A-Line rubber tires with one of their sets of trailer wheels. You will also need to mount a eye bolt to the front of the trailer. Due to the small size of the ring needed for the hitch, its best to use a metal eye bolt as one printed is just too fragile. Simply drill a small hole in the center of the hitch mount and glue in place. I use .020 or .030 formed metal eye bolts available by JV Models with 1/16" eyes for smaller trailers or 5/64" eyes for larger trailers like this model. Added details like blackened safety chains made by A-Line and a fresh coat of paint will really make the model stand out. Once fully detailed and loaded this trailer will surely make an eye catching model.
