Exactly four years ago in April 2013 I found the Holy Grail in a fractal formula and 3D printed it.
To celebrate this I have now made a 3D print of the 9th Zoom-in on the smaller Grails inside the original Grail.
The 9th Holy Grail of the Holy Grail is smaller but with the same amount of detail as the original (I’ve learned a lot since… ;) ), the smaller size of course also makes it a lot cheaper to print. And I found it both even more beautiful and more Grail-like than my original piece.
At this Zoom level… if the final, 9th Grail is 8cm high, the original is 1073741824 cm -that is 10737 km or 6 672 Miles high… Making the 9th 134217728 times bigger in this new print than it was in the original Grail.
