Product Description
In 1932 the Navy of the Republic of China received two light cruisers, builded on japanese yards. The design was sharing a lot of details with the IJN Cruiser Yubari like the main armament. Like most japanese designs of this period, the cruiseres were very top heavy, so soon after entering service, parts of the armament and the aircraft were removed from the Ning Hai or never installed before entering service on Ping Hai. In 1937 booth cruisers were bombed by airplanes of the IJN Carrier Kaga on the Yangtse River. Later the cruisers are raised by the Japanese and were rebuild as patrols vessels and used by the IJN as Yasoshima and Isoshima.
