Product Description
The Battleground Flak 38 replicates many of the features found in the original gun including the Flakvisier 38 targeting "computer" and optics.   The main gun is a single piece and snaps into the chassis without glue.  Once installed the main gun has roughly 90 degrees of elevation to take on both ground and air targets.   The gun chassis fits easily into the triangular base and will rotate 360 degrees.  The gun comes with an ammunition kit featuring 5 loaded magazines, two ammunition boxes with lids, and twenty individual rounds.   Two magazines can fit into each ammunition box.   One magazine can be inserted into the main gun.

Bring your Battleground model to life with action figures from 21st Century Toys Ultimate Soldier, BBI Elite Force, OurWar or the Forces of Valor Bravo Team line.

The Sd. Ah. 51 trailer is available separately and allows the Flak 38 to snap right in and be transported into combat quickly.

The German Flak 38 served from it's invention in 1938 all the way to the end of the World War II in 1945.  It was a very versatile weapon, being used both in it's primary purpose as highly portable anti-aircraft gun but also against infantry and soft skinned vehicles.   Featured in a memorable scene in the film Saving Private Ryan, a German crew uses a Flak 38 with the shields removed on an Sd.Ah 51 trailer to attack U.S. infantry that are trying to destroy a Tiger I tank with improvised "Sticky Bombs".
