Garmin Eighth-turn Rack Mount Style 3

This is basically a remodeling of the Garmin rack mount just to move the center of the Garmin mount and provide a bit more clearance. The mounting holes are designed for 5 mm socket head cap screws (Pan head screws recommended) on 50 mm center-to-center distance (typical of most bicycle rear racks). The Garmin socket is 34 mm to the center form the flat section of the mount. The Garmin socket is raised 2 mm to allow for clearance past the rack mounting screws when mounting the device.

All 3D prints are made from the same raw white Nylon materials. Black Natural Versatile Plastic is a print that comes straight out of the printer, is cleaned and then placed in a black dye bath. Black Natural Versatile Plastic is not polished or surface finished in any other manner. The result is a grainy/fuzzy surface texture. All other Versatile Plastic parts are polished before dyeing and have a satin sheen as a result of the polishing process. MJF PA12 starts with similar raw material and a liquid binder (gray) resulting in more even and saturated color when dyed. MJF PA12 has a matte finish and slight grainy feel. The technology used in MJF PA12 produces a stronger print.
