This is the Eddystone Lighthouse as built by Trinity House in 1882, the fourth lighthouse to mark the small but dangerous Eddystone Rocks 13 miles southwest of Plymouth, England.
It was completely automated in 1982 and that work included the building of a helipad above the lantern house.
The model is hollow and 5mm diameter
inside the lantern, so there is room for illumination to be added.
The Eddystone Lighthouse is available in 1/1250th, 1/700th, 1/350th and 1/285th scales (click to chose.)
