Product Description
This lapel pin is inspired by the worker honeybee. Honeybees are important pollinators of agricultural crops and it is estimated that one third of our food supply is dependent on them. According to the entomologist May Berenbaum, "honeybees are in effect six-legged livestock that both manufacture agricultural commodities – honey and wax – and, more importantly, contribute agricultural services—pollination.”
This lapel pin does not ship from Shapeways with a butterfly clasp. If you can't find one or borrow one from another pin, drop me a line and I will send you one. The honeybee is 1.8cm long and 1.1cm high.
