A Steiner chain is a set of circles that are all tangent to two non-intersecting circles. Additionally, each circle in the chain is tangent to the two circles adjacent to it. The result is a system of closely-packed circles in a variably infinite configuration.
This pendant takes the Steiner chain and applies it to the surface of a sphere. Its unique, cascading form is both modern and elegant and will surely turn heads.
