Battle Axe to Benefit N.O.W.

The battle axe is a symbol of feminine strength. Sharp, strong and fierce. A "battle axe" is an outspoken and powerful woman. She is a resilient, fearless person who is not afraid to fight for her rights. 

This pendant design is based on a found antique brooch of a battle axe that had it roots in the Suffragette Movement. I recreated it so that it could be 3D printed in an array of different metals.  

All profits from the sale of the necklaces will go to the National Organization for Women. I choose NOW because they advocate for, Reproductive Rights and Justice, Ending Violence Against Women, Economic Justice, LGBT Rights, Racial Justice, and Constitutional Equality.
