The rear is 1/2" and it narrows down to 1/4", unlike my other version that is 1/4" the whole way across.
This bottle popper is designed to allow up to 3 tritium/or metal inserts in it. The back has been thickened on this one compared to my first version, and the rear allows a better lanyard/keychain/paracord attachement.
Depending on the route you take, it is fine without any inserts at all, but if you want a two tone look, you'd need 3mm rods cut to size. If anyone needs me to make some on shapeways, just message me.
The size needed for the tritium inserts is 3mm x 23mm. The holes in the design are 3.25mm due to inaccuracies in the printing process. The tritium vials will need to be secured with glue, and the end user will likely need to drill the holes out just a little to make sure you don't break the vials when inserting them.
In order to find tritium vials, I suggest http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?189-CPF-Kiosks and finding someone to source them. Longer vials will work on the middle, but not the two at the bottom
