HO 1/87 Gondola extension #1 - Atlas ACF Coalveyor

Designed to fit the HO Atlas model of the ACF Coalveyor. After their life hauling coal, these railcars were put to use in other areas, hauling more lightweight materials. For this reason, their capacity could be increased, and extensions were added to the tops of these cars. This model represents the 'Husky' version (wider ribs) for the Coalveyor design (I will create the alternative rib-width version too, which will make for an interesting train). Two flanges along the bottom of the model secure the extension to the Atlas car. It could be glued in place or left un-glued so the part can be removed later. I hope to create more extension models for other types of gondola (Bathtub and Thrall Hi-Sided). Note, the model is inverted to orient it for optimum printing. Cross-bracing recently added to reduce any warp during manufcature, but note the thick-round cross-brace must NOT be removed as it is part of the design.
