Product Description
A drop in replacement for your remastered 1/1000th scale USS Excelsior model! Simply use this bridge instead of the kit one, and use this impulse crystal in the depression where the kit crystal would go. Due to the small nature of some of the details, these are only available in the frosted detail plastics.

The parts have been thinned and hollowed about as far as is comfortable without running into printing issues for those interested in lighting their model. It is recommended that you wash the parts in warm soapy water, cleaning them with a soft toothbrush. To increase light transmission, you may wish to ever so softly buff and polish them with very high grade sandpaper or steel wool, but only the finest grade and then sparingly as printed parts can be fragile - less is more. Remember to open up as much of the upper saucer beneath where these parts will go to also increase light transmission. You may also wish to sand down the base of the crystal slightly to similarly increase light transmission. As always, measure twice, cut once.

Thank to Tracy Mann and the folks at the SSM boards for their input and help with this project! You all really helped to make it happen.
