What good is an iPhone accessory if you never have it with you when you need it?
This is what I asked myself recently when I realized that I have these cool iPhone accessories but never seem to have them with me when I actually need to use them. This led to the idea of creating some kind of accessory that is light, minimal, and wearable. With the large size of my iPhone I find myself using it a lot more for viewing videos or browsing the web, so I decided I needed to make that accessory an iPhone stand.
Keeping it minimal, I started with the concept of working with 2 strands-- one that would hold the iPhone in place and one that would act as base. The 2 strands would come together at certain points in order to create a support for the phone. The strands would become the stand [which became the ST(r)AND CUFF ].
Please note:
I've tested a size Small with an iPhone 6 Plus with a slim case and it fits, but I can't guarantee it will fit with a thicker case (though I will be making a version for that). It also fits without a case.
This should also fit an iPhone 6 without a case.
This has also been tested with an iPhone 5 with a slim case and an iPhone 4s with a slim case. (If in doubt whether your phone/case will fit please wait for the version with the larger notches.)
Size Small
interior measurement of 2 3/8 inches across (60mm across )
This should fit a wrist up to 6.5 inches circumference (165mm)
Size Medium
interior measurement of 2 1/2 inches across (64mm across )
This should fit a wrist up to 7 inches circumference (177mm)
For a Size Large or custom size to fit your wrist feel free to send me a message.
