Seafarer's Safety Razor Head Collection 1609

We have taken the head from the Whalebone 222 Slant Bar Safety Razor and the head from the Manatee 208 Open Comb Safety Razor and have provided these heads in one package for purchase.  The Manatee provides a mild shave and the Whalebone provides a moderately aggressive shave, so this collection is an affordable way for shavers who might have an in-the-middle 3-piece safety razor to expand the range of their gear.

In order to use these razor heads, you will need a metric M5 16mm flat head machine screw.  You will also need a compatible safety razor handle, such as an Edwin Jagger, Maggard or Razorock.  Make sure that the metric flat head machine screw fits into your handle.  These items are not included in the package, but are required for you to use the safety razor heads.  Imperial parts are not interchangeable with metric parts; the machine screw heads have different angles.

Unfortunately, Shapeways is only a 3D printing service, so the hardware cannot be included in the package.  You should be able to find the parts at your local hardware store or industrial supply center.

The heads are available in white surgical-grade nylon; but for best performance, the harder professional plastic is recommended.

When the razor heads arrive, you will notice that the parts are held together with an interlocking pin.  You will need to remove the pin to separate the parts.  Use of the pin makes it easier to handle, and therefore reduces the total cost of the unit.
