Camping coaches were offered by many railway
companies in the United Kingdom (including the GWR) from the 1930s as accommodation for holiday makers.
The coaches
were old passenger vehicles no longer suitable for use in trains.These were converted to provide sleeping and living accomodation at static locations
This print
is part of a kit designed to fit the short non-corridor Hornby/Triang Clerestory composite coach and provides the basic interior partitions Partitions. The layout comprised a kitchen at one end and bedrooms at the other (one two and one eight berth) with a dining area in the centre.
