Product Description
Scientifically and anatomically accurate model of a red-bellied woodpecker skull, scaled at around 150%. This model was developed through a lengthy process of microCT scanning a real woodpecker skull specimen (from a Red-bellied Woodpecker, Melanerpes carolinus), which then went through several rounds of editing and retopologizing. The finished 3D model is a bit delicate - all those tiny bones! - but it's printable and exquisite in it's detail. Wonderful gift for an ornithologist or bird-watcher.
