Real world

This wagon is primarily used for transportation of metal sheet scrolls for the automotive industry. The covers protect scrolls from adverse weather conditions. The wagon can be usually seen in long coherent sets in almost any state of Europe.

Model

This set contains everything you need to build a complete Shimms wagon - the Shimms wagon itself, two slightly modified Y25 type chassis (they easily fit this short wagon), four buffers and optional accessories. Also, you will need two M3 hexagonal nuts (1.4mm height), two M3 screws and four wheelsets of diameter 7.5mm, 7.7mm or 7.8mm with axis 18.5mm long with tip on both ends.

Details on assembling Y25 type chassis can be found here. Use super glue to attach both M3 nuts into hexagonal bores on the bottom of the wagon frame and mount both Y25 type chassis using two M3 screws.

Due to the technological requirements, the wagon has partly opened bottom, which allows you to add an extra weight by inserting a piece of metal inside (do not forget to fix it with glue - definitely use super glue).
