A small round espresso cup that sits in a ringed stand or coaster, designed to sit nice and well fitted in.
The mouth region is a little thicker than traditional cups which makes the experience of flavour of coffee or tea that much nicer as you slurp on the slightly thicker edge of the cup (I experienced it and love it).
