Eyecup Adapter for Fuji X-T10 / X-T20 / X-T30 V3

This adapter allows to mount an eyepiece like the DK-19 and DK-17 for Nikon cameras to the X-T10, X-T20 and X-T30 cameras by Fujifilm.  The images on this page show the DK-19 mounted via the adapter.
A very kind customer has reported that the rubber piece of the DK-17 also fits the adapter.
This could be an usable alternative if you like a smaller eyepiece.

Furthermore, the DK-19 replacement (Round version) by JJC also works with the adapter very well, and thus provides a more affordable alternative to the original by Nikon.

I have created this because I percept the smear that settles down on the viewfinder frontglass very quickly and the great amount of ambient light that makes its way through the tiny built-in eyepiece as huge disadvantages of the camera. If you mount a bigger eyepiece using this adapter, you will gain a much better shooting experience :)

The Adapter is designed to just work. To mount it on your camera, simply pull it over the camera's eyepiece according to the video below. The eye still sensor works when the adapter is mounted. Please note: The Eyepiece shown in some of the Images is not included.

Recently, two questions have been asked several times:

• Does it work with the X-T20 and X-T30? For most people, yes! The longer story: I had received feedback regarding the X-T20  for an older version of the adapter : It did fit, but not as tight as on the X-T10. I do not know whether this is related to the general form of the X-T20's viewfinder or a consequence of production diversification. I have worked together with owners of the X-T20 and X-T30  to optimize the fit and the current version (V3) finally works with both cameras. 
  UPDATE/Warning: So, why did I write "for most people"? Recently, I got a message from a customer whose adapter blocked the eye sensor. Although the adapter worked for well for the other users I obtained feedback from, I take this seriously, of course. So, please be aware that, seemingly, manufacturing Tolerances might lead to the eye sensor being blocked. (I'll investigate this further)
• Can the Screen be articulated with adapter and Nikon eyepiece attached? Yes. If you pull out the top of the screen at first, it may hit the border of the eyecup, so it is easier to pull out the bottom of the screen at first and then articulate the screen as desired. You can articulate the screen to any postition, so there is no limitation introduced by the adapter.
