Four sided roller die

This is a four-sided die, in the same style as my odd sided dice range.
In this version the faces are slightly rounded and the corners have been clipped slightly, to improve rolling characteristics.
The numbers are sized such that each removes the same amount of material.
As you might expect, opposing sides sum to five.

I consider this to be the goldilocks of dice, because I had to print it three times to get the right proportion. The first time was too large, the second too small, but this version is just right.

About this set

I designed these roller dice to fill in the awkward low numbers : three, five and seven faces. I added this four-sided roller dice in a similar form, because tetrahedral 'caltrop style' dice are horrid and don't have the value-face-up property.

Although solid, and perfectly servicable, I find the plastic version a little light for comfortable throwing. If you can afford it, I direct you to my 'pepperpot' series (D3 D4 D5 D7) which are the same forms in hollow stainless steel (approximately three times the cost of plastic).
