Unicorn

Few nations can claim to have a national symbol as cool as Scotland.  The Unicorn has been Scotland's national animal since the 12th century.  Considered so dangerous, it is always depicted with a chain.  It has a tail of a lion and cloven feet.   We are unable to confirm any connection with wind and rainbows.

Most town squares in Scotland have a merket cross marking the place for public gatherings.  Many of these squares have a unicorn either on a stone column or the roof of a public shelter.   This model takes our favorite bits from several examples.

A note on customization of this item

In creating the area on the shield for you to add your own image, we made the edit box as big as we could to give you flexibility, e.g. when using picture files with circular images where the corners don't matter. The editable area is a rectangle and the shield obviously is not. The editable area also includes the Unicorn's cloven hoof holding the shield.  

Watch out for details in the top right corner and both bottom corners bleeding into unwanted areas at the default 100% image scale.  For images where details at the corners are important,  scale your image to 70% which will ensure all the detail is on the flat of the shield.  Within your image file,  white = no detail,  black = raised detail.
