Flamewheel VTx Dampener - BASE Mirrored

The BASE Part of the TBS Discovery PRO Flamewheel VTx Quick Swap and Dampening System.
The Mirrored Version mounts to the right hand side of the Flamewheel VTx Mount and because of this requires you to remove the Support bar from it.​

Uses TBS Gimbal Rubber Dampeners that come with the TBS Discovery PRO to dampen the VTx.
Also offers a Quick Swap feature that allows for fast interchanging between the various TBS VTx Systems when installed in a VTx CASE.

The CASEs are NOT part of this purchase BUT mandatory!

Has two small holes near the bottom of the Mounting Plate to run a wire through in order to secure the BASE and/or a CASE to the Discovery PRO frame.

Also needed is a Flamewheel VTx Mount which usually comes with the purchase of a TBS Discovery or Discovery PRO.

Preparation & Installation:

1. Do a Test Fit before applying Adhesives!
2. Attach the BASE by sliding it onto the Flamewheel VTx Mount from the top.
3. Lock in place by pressing the bottom area against the VTx Mount - This may take force.
4. If everything fits remove the BASE once more.
5. Insert one Gimbal Dampener Into the BASE part and one into the Quick Snap part.
6. Combine the BASE part with the Quick Snap Part.
7. Repeat Step 2 + 3 now with an Adhesive applied between the Flamewheel VTx Mount and the BASE - I've chosen a Gel type Glue.
8. Optional: In case you do not wish to glue the BASE to the Flamewheel VTx Mount it is now possible to screw it in place using a TBS Frame Screw allowing the separation of the two in case of one of them breaking - This will require a hole to be drilled into the Flamewheel VTx Mount.
