Suzuki GS500 Quick throttle clip

Version 2 of the Suzuki GS500 quick throttle clip. Can be installed on the original throttle handle to increase sensitivity in a linear way. In the photos version 1 of the quick throttle clip is shown. The clip works perfectly but the arc length was a little too small. This is solved in the 2nd version. Installation is easy. Remove 2 screws at the bottom to open the ignition switch assembly that covers the grip. Remove the throttle cable from the grip and move the ignition switch assembly out of the way. Slide the clip onto the handlebar and to the grip a little. First place the skewed ridge in grove of the grip at the side of the throttle cable. Now carefully push the other (straight) end in the groove on the other side. Reinstall the throttle cable and adjust the nut on the cable. If the cable is too short it can be adjusted more at the carburetor side. If the ridges are too thick for the grooves feel free to make them a little bit thinner with sandpaper or a file. They were a perfect fit in my grip but after many miles my grip may have worn out more than yours.
