The second planet from the sun, Venus is a near identical twin to Earth in size, gravity, and precisely absolutely nothing else whatsoever.
Hidden beneath its perpetual cloud cover, is a hellish world with a mean temperature of 462 C, a surface atmospheric pressure 90 times the one of Earth and where it rains acid, only for this rain to vaporize 25km before it hits the ground.
Normally Venus's surface is permanently obscured by an opaque beige cloud layer. Instead this globe, makes use of radar-derived data to represent the known Venusian surface underneath (lighter areas representing higher elevations).
Includes 3d surface relief detail based on the Magellan data. Detail has been somewhat exaggerated on the z-axis in order to make more tactile since otherwise Venus would be too smooth to perceive.
