While this model used to be inexpensive, changes to Shapeways' pricing model actually leave it
more expensive than a fully-skinned equivalent! There are folks, however, that would like to wrap their own cloth over the building or even use its frame for a partially-destroyed hangar, so I leave this option still available.
This is the framework of a six-bay Bessonneau Type H Aeroplane Hangar from World War One. Hangars such as these were commonly used by most of the Entente powers. They commonly came in 6-Bay, 9-Bay, and 12-Bay sizes. A painted model would make a nice addition to most any static display.
