Product Description
This is the regular sized spindown version of the D20 die in my 'Twined' series. The measurement of 24 mm (0.94'') is the distance between each set of two opposing faces, or the height of the die when it is lying on a flat surface. This size works very well when printed in any of the steel materials or other metals, but is also suited for strong & flexible plastic. Please note however that it will be very light in plastic. There is also an extra large version of this spindown die available here.
The numbers on the die are arranged in a spindown pattern, which makes it easier to keep track of your life total in games. Because of this the numbers on opposing sides of the die do not add up to 21. If you are looking for a this same design but with a traditional ordering of the numbers, please have a look here. Even though the arrangement of the numbers is not standard, great care has been taken to ensure that the die is fair and well balanced, and therefore throws should not be biased.

To enhance the look of the die, and to make the numbers on the die stand out more, you can do the following:
- On the metal version you can darken the recessed ares by painting the die with thinned dark acrylic paint and rubbing it on a rough cloth after the paint has dried. This will clean the paint of the heightened details, leaving them shiny and contrasting nicely with the darker lower areas.
- On the plastic version you can color the numbers using acrylic paint and a fine brush. Because the numbers are raised above their background plane this is quite easy to do.
