IDF Sherman M51 Rear Storage Basket 1/35 scale

This is the rear storage basket for the late IDF ( Israel Defense Forces ) This requires no assembly! it comes fully formed. Some tips for using 3d printed updates for your model: Wash the part in warm water, use a brush ( i use a childs toothbrush ) to gently scrub the part. this is to remove waxy residue that may be on the part. I recommend using a primer ( like tamiya fine spray ) to prime the part, then sand areas that may have lines form the printing process. after sanding wash the part again and re-prime the sanded area to check the surface. For this part you may need to open up the drain holes n the bottom of the basket with a pin-vise. I have updated the model to include locating pins and a jig for drilling the starter holes in the hull to help with placement! Just tape the jig where you want the storage box to be located and drill the two small pilot holes, after that's done you can open the holes up to accept the storage box pins. or you can just clip the pins off and surface mount it, your choice!
