Kinetic Sculpture - Flat Six

I present to you one of the first Kinetic Sculptures, The Flat Six. Based on an air-cooled Porsche engine, this desktop engineering marvel will hold you in a trance as you turn the hand crank counter-clockwise and watch the six pistons move in their correct firing order, watching the exposed crankshaft all the while. Completing the process, an o-ring belt turns the fan to extract the hot air from the engine.
